Product Description Sunny the meerkat lives with his enormous family in the Kalahari desert. They are all very close ...so close, in fact, that one day Sunny decides he's had enough and packs his bags. He's off to visit his mongoose cousins. But from the watery world of the Marsh Mongoose to the nocturnal lifestyle of the Malagasy Mongoose, Sunny just doesn't fit in.

Love it! July 13, 2010 bookbonkers200 Both my children boy 3 and girl 6 ask for this over and over again!!! Great thing is I enjoy reading it over and over so worth every penny!!
Meerkat Mail July 12, 2010 Ms. Lesley A. Stephenson (Shropshire, UK) A truely brilliant picture book with so many different discussions to have with children. Another super book from Emily Gravett!
Matthew Eyre April 5, 2010 Mr. M. Eyre (Portsmouth, England) A truly excellent children's book- a sort of Springbok "Jolly Postman". You can't go round with this delightful introduction to sending postcards and researching wildlife for children aged 3 to 9. My Year 3 class voted it the best book in their school library.
Meerkat Mail January 14, 2010 G. O. Skiller (Southampton UK) This book was part of a Meerkat themed Chrismas present for my 4yr old grandson.
A charming story of a Meerkat travelling round looking for his 'niche' and he sends postcards home from the different places he visits.
Very nicely illustrated with little tabs for the postcards and therein lies the problem. The little tags are quite flimsy and would recommend this as a 'to be read to' book until the child is of an age to understand the phrase 'gently lift up the flaps'.
I would recommend the book to anyone with children from 3 upwards.
meerkat fun November 17, 2009 V. Wales (Tyne and Wear, UK) MY SON INITIALLY GOT THIS BOOK FROM THE LIBRARY AND DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE IT BACK SO I BOUGHT IT. HE IS MEERKAT MAD SO THIS BOOK WAS A DEFINITE MUST. THE LIFT UP FLAPS DISGUISED AS POSTCARDS ARE A NICE TOUCH AND THE STORY IS HEARTWARMING. A DEFINITE BUY FOR MEERKAT FANS.
