This is the original large 34cm, appr. 13.5 inches tall Meerkat by Keel Toys. Recently a 2cm smaller, cheaper and in our opinion far less good looking version has replaced this Meerkat. So only a few left of the very attractive alert Meerkat.

I've brought this meerkat for, myself and hope to use it to make a larger
version of it, it's well sewn so that it stands up well, and the tail
should support it, i rate this meerkat as potentially useful to me.
i just wish i could buy a pattern of it. a nice meerkat at a simples price

The three Meerkats arrived in a couple of days, they were well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Excellent value, lovely soft plush, very touchable, cuddles well, and has appealed to all ages - from 6 to 60+!
I wasn't sure how the back of the meerkat would look, as no photo, but the design and colouring is very accurate and the tail is very sturdy and provides a "rest" for the meerkat to stand!
Overall, I'm very pleased with the meerkat - and my friend, the lucky recipient, is thrilled!

This is a good quality, inexpensive little toy for someone who loves meerkats. I have an elderly friend who is crazy about them and she has it standing on her sideboard much to the amusement of all her visitors. 'Marvin' is able to stand easily supported by his tail and really looks the part. Nice to touch, but quite rigid in construction so no movement in arms or legs.
